Cause of Death:    Crushed by pole in work accident                    Note: There appears to be a conflict in birth date with the grave monument which states a birthdate of September 9, 1887. The cemetery interment card reads September 10, 1895. Another dissenting date appears on the draft registration, September 9, 1896.  The obit says he was 37, so we can presume that Sept. 1895 is correct.
