James Lewis Lambright
PVT/ US ARMY Company M, 71st Infantry Regiment
Birth: May 15, 1889 in Frederick, MD
Death: December 1, 1918 in Frederick, MD

Private Lambright was buried in "Strangers' Row" without a grave marker. This area of the cemetery was once used to bury destitute patrons and unknown visitors to town who had expired while here, (having no known next of kin.)

​James Lewis Lambright went AWOL on 11/2/1918. When soldiers came to arrest him at his home on W. 6th Street in Frederick, Private Lambright swallowed arsenic. He died the next day while in police custody.
