A printed obituary could not be found in the Frederick paper for Mr. Wright. The following transcript appears on Find-a-Grave:
Percy Carl Wright of Silver Springs, MD., died at Walter Reed Hospital the afternoon of February 26. He was born October 4, 1892, at Greenville, Ohio. Parents were Clarence and Rose Wright. He graduated from Greenville High School (Ohio), then attended Ohio University, also the University of California. He served in World War I. He had been postmaster of Leisure World post office for over seven years, a community of 2500 residents. Those who mourn his loss are his wife, Mildred M., the former Mildred Bartholomew; also two brothers and three sisters, all from Ohio. Funeral services were held at Frederick, MD., March 1 and burial was in Frederick cemetery.
